WHY A CIRCULAR MAT?
Circles commonly represent unity, wholeness, and infinity – no beginning or end, without sides or harsh corners but just free flowing all around. The circle symbol meaning is universal, sacred and divine. It represents the infinite nature of energy, spiritual energy and the inclusivity of the universe. The circle invites the observer to step inside the sacredness.
The natural world appears and moves in circles. Native American Indians say that the power of the world works in circles and everything tries to be round. The sky is round, the sun, the moon, the planets, birds make circular nests, flowers have circular centres, the seasons come and go in a circular fashion. The deeply significant yin yang symbol is circular representing the balancing of worldly dualities. To the Celtics circles were often drawn as protective boundaries, not to be crossed by enemy or evil.
With your circular mat you are invited to step into a sacred place where you can feel whole again, at one with the universe allowing your energy to move with freedom and creativity. You are encouraged to recognise your own spiritual nature accepting yourself as the perfect being of light present on the earth at this time to have a physical experience. Remember who you are at your source and live in peace, love and joy.
